Spring Break Fun For Kids Of All Ages

Spring is steadily approaching, and students everywhere are becoming more and more anxious to get out of the classroom and enjoy some time with friends and family. If you’re a parent however, you may be worried about how your little ones are going to spend their time away from school while you’re at work. Thankfully, the Coeur d’Alene Kroc Center has a week of fun, games and activities planned!

From March 30th until April 3rd, The Salvation Army Kroc Center will be hosting a variety of activities for kids of all ages; including basketball, dodgeball, indoor soccer, movies, climbing, volleyball, and wibit, their indoor aquatic playground where they will have splash sports taking place. These are only a few of the many activities they will be organizing throughout the week. The Spring Break event is free for all members, and the Kroc Center will have day passes available for anyone who would like to join in on the fun. Each day during the Spring Break event calendar, the Kroc Center will be hosting a free community movie. This showing will be free to the public, so no day pass or membership is required. All showings will take place at 2:30 P.M in the theater. Here is the movie schedule for the week:

Monday, March 30th – Big Hero 6
Tuesday, March 31st – The Book of Life
Wednesday, April 1st – Boxtrolls
Thursday, April 2nd – The Lorax
Friday, April 3rd – Penguins of Madagascar

Aside from the Spring Break events schedule, the Kroc Center also has a School’s Out Day Camp Program they will be running. Available from 9 A.M to 4 P.M for kids ages 6-13, the Day Camp will provide an opportunity for kids to make new friends, discover new talents and learn new skills. The Kroc staff will provide an assortment of fun-filled activities including rock climbing, swimming, crafts, cooking, games and more. Lunch and a snack will be provided. Club 7-10 will also be offered during the week of March 30th-April 3rd. This play care program offers a chance for children ages 7-10 to play and explore with old and new friends. This program is offered everyday 8 A.M to noon and an adult must remain on site with their child. Click here for more information and pricing details.
